center3: KSA Central 1

Situated in Central Saudi Arabia, KSA Central 1 is one of center3’s flagship data-centre facilities, operated by the wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Telecom Company (STC). Center3’s ambition places Saudi Arabia as a major digital-infrastructure hub connecting Europe, Asia and Africa. 

This facility supports Saudi Arabia’s rapid expansion of cloud, AI and hyperscale workloads, aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 digitalisation agenda. 

By locating in the Kingdom’s central region, the facility offers advantages in fibre-backbone access, regional connectivity, low-latency links across MENA, and carrier-neutral operations—making it a strategic node in center3’s network.

• Center3 has publicly announced a target of 1 GW (1000 MW) of data-centre capacity by 2030, with around 300 MW expected by 2027—KSA Central 1 forms part of that rollout.
