OVIO a.m.: Abovyan Data Center

Located in the town of Abovyan (approximately 16 km from the capital, Yerevan), the OVIO Data Center is the first major facility of telecom-operator OVIO in Armenia.

The facility is built to high-availability, Tier III standards, positioning it as a strategic infrastructure node for Armenian digital services and the broader Caucasus region. 

Its proximity to the Armenian capital, direct access to national fibre-optic networks, and independent power-substation connectivity all contribute to its importance for colocation, cloud, government and enterprise workloads.

• IT capacity of approximately 2 MW, supporting around 200-216 racks. 
• Built infrastructure includes two independent 35 kV substations feeding the power supply.
