• Redundancy & design: The Itzehoe data centre benefits from two independent medium-voltage feeds, two redundant supply paths in-building, dual UPS systems and redundant emergency-power systems. 
• Cooling & efficiency: It uses redundant (2N) refrigerant and air-cooling infrastructure, with “CoolWall” recirculating air cooling units per system-room, and air cooling to racks up to ~15 kW with optional direct-rack water cooling. 
• Sustainability: The facility is powered by 100% renewable electricity. Photovoltaic and green-roof installations are also used. Waste heat from servers is captured for local use, and the data-centre is operated as an inclusion enterprise (minimum ~40% of employees with disabilities). 
• Scalability & flexibility: Designed to accommodate flexible rack, cage or private-suite deployments; suitable for colocation, storage, hosting and cloud applications. The full infrastructure is provided for server and storage systems.
