About Bell Canada Merritt

Bell Canada’s Merritt, British Columbia facility is part of the Bell AI Fabric initiative — a national supercluster of AI-compute infrastructure. The Merritt facility is one of six planned data centres in British Columbia, slated to deliver 7 megawatts of hydro-powered AI computing capacity by the end of 2025. 

Located on a 5-acre (≈ 2-hectare) site adjacent to the Merritt Municipal Airport, the centre is strategically placed at the junction of major provincial highways linking the Lower Mainland and the Okanagan. The site benefits from clean energy, affordable land, reliable electrical infrastructure, and strong fibre connectivity.
