Strategically positioned in Québec’s Estrie region, the facility benefits from access to low-cost, renewable power through Hydro-Québec, one of North America’s most stable and sustainable energy providers. The site plays a central role in Bitfarms’ vertically integrated mining strategy, combining proprietary infrastructure, operational control, and energy optimization to support high-performance blockchain processing.
Unlike traditional multi-tenant colocation data centers, the Bitfarms Bunker facility is dedicated to in-house cryptocurrency mining operations and is not designed for third-party enterprise workloads.
