CENTRA: RENO2 Data Center
About RENO2 Data Center
CENTRA Digital RNO2 Data Center in Reno, Nevada is a planned carrier-neutral interconnection facility at 265 Keystone Ave designed for low-latency connectivity, AI-ready infrastructure, and high-density colocation. RNO2 expands CENTRA’s Reno platform beyond its downtown RNO1 interconnection site and is positioned as Reno’s first purpose-built interconnection data center. The facility is under construction and scheduled for 2026 delivery.
RNO2 is designed with 12 MVA utility power, 8.8 MW of critical capacity, a 230,000 sq ft building footprint, true 2N power, N+1 cooling, air-cooled chillers, four conduit entrances, two meet-me rooms, and more than 15 fiber carriers. The facility is liquid-cooling enabled and supports high-density cabinets up to 150 kW per rack. CENTRA lists a Tier III+ design, PUE of 1.35 or better, SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, and ISO 27001 certification for the RNO2 platform.
The Keystone Avenue location places RNO2 in Reno’s urban connectivity corridor, tethered to CENTRA’s RNO1 meet-me-room site at 200 S. Virginia Street. Reno sits between the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Northern Nevada’s major industrial data center developments. That network position supports enterprises, carriers, cloud platforms, AI infrastructure teams, and service providers that need interconnection-rich infrastructure closer to Western U.S. traffic routes.
