The CSF Computer Exchange 1 (CX1) facility, operated by CSF Group (also known as CSF Advisers), is a high-end carrier-neutral data centre located at Jalan Teknokrat 6, Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It stands out as one of Malaysia’s earliest major commercial data centres (built in the early 2000s) and has grown into a strategic connectivity hub thanks to its dense fibre landings and strong interconnection ecosystem. 

⚙️ Facility Highlights

• The building covers approximately 7,600 m² gross area (≈81,700 sq ft) with about 4,300 m² (≈45,500 sq ft) of data hall/colocation space in its original specification. 
• Power infrastructure: The facility was originally specified with redundant mains (two 11 kV incomers), diesel generators up to 12 MVA, UPS with N+1 redundancy, and fuel storage to support full load for ~30 hours. 
• Cooling and mechanical: Raised floor (600 mm) in data halls, air-cooled systems covering ranges of ~18–24 °C and 35–65% RH, floor loading ~7.5 kN/m².
• Scalability: While originally designed for an IT load of around 1.1 MW at launch, the facility has evolved into a major hub supporting dark-fibre landings, extensive carrier connectivity, and high-density deployments. 
• Support services & ecosystem: On-site operations 24/7, managed infrastructure capabilities, strong remote-hands and interconnect services provided by CSF Group.

• On-site security team operational 24/7, with access controls including proximity card readers (upgradable to biometric), CCTV surveillance with off-site archiving, barrier control and vehicle access monitoring.
• Fire detection & suppression: High-sensitivity smoke detection (HSSD), water-mist systems in data halls, gas suppression in mechanical/electrical areas. 
• Carrier-neutral compliance & rating: The facility is certified to Tier-3 for architecture/mechanical/electrical and Tier-4 for telecommunications according to its listing.
