DCX Data Centers: Goodyear Data Center
About Goodyear Data Center
DCX-GYR1 Data Center in Goodyear, Arizona provides move-in-ready hyper-density colocation for AI, machine learning, HPC, and mission-critical applications. The facility is located on a 6-acre campus at 16422 W. Commerce Drive in the Phoenix West Valley and is operational for customers requiring dedicated, high-density data suites. DCX positions GYR1 near the Microsoft West US 3 region and inside Goodyear’s growing data center corridor.
Each data suite is delivered with 100% dedicated critical systems, 720 kW at 2N per suite, two dedicated 720 kW UPS systems, diesel emergency generators, Starline busway, and APC rack power distribution. The facility supports up to 30 kW per rack and up to 44 four-post racks per suite. Critical systems are concurrently maintainable with up to 2N design for UPS, generator, and mechanical systems, on-site fuel storage, multiple DX cooling units per data suite, lightning protection, and a designed water utilization efficiency of zero liters/kW/hr.
Connectivity includes multiple points of entry, carrier-neutral access, on-net Cox and Lumen, and additional local fiber availability through DCX-operated optical transport to 120 East Van Buren in Phoenix. The Goodyear location benefits from Arizona Public Service Company utility service, Computer Data Center Program tax incentive eligibility, proximity to Phoenix Goodyear Airport, Canyon Trails Towne Center, Palm Valley Pavilions West, and the broader Phoenix metro data center ecosystem.
