This facility is uniquely positioned as a Pacific “meet-me” point, bridging trans-Pacific submarine cables and satellite communications. It offers AWS Direct Connect connectivity, making it a strategic hub for hybrid cloud and international digital traffic. Because it sits outside known flood and tsunami zones and is elevated (160 ft above sea level), it provides enhanced geological resilience for critical operations.
