This five-storey facility is a key component of Keppel Data Centres' Tampines ecosystem, facilitating the expansion of digital infrastructure for hyperscale cloud providers and local enterprises. Adjacent to KDC SGP 2 and KDC SGP 3, KDC SGP 4 creates a cohesive network of high-performance data centres.
KDC SGP 4 stands out for its sustainable design, having earned the LEED Gold Award and the BCA Green Mark (Platinum) Award. The facility's infrastructure is built to ensure robustness and reliability, featuring four power feeds, a 48-hour fuel supply, and maintainable systems. It employs dual piping for cooling, multiple water sources including NEWater, and sophisticated fire protection systems with gas suppression, pre-action sprinklers, and VESDA smoke detection. The centre's security measures are comprehensive, including round-the-clock on-site security, extensive CCTV coverage, anti-climb fencing with an intrusion detection system, vehicle trap systems, and strict access controls with two-factor authentication.
