The Dallas 2 data center features a secure physical environment with man trap entry, 24/7 on-site security officers, electronic biometric readers, fiber vault, and comprehensive CCTV surveillance with 30-day retention. Motion detection systems further enhance security. Power reliability is ensured with N+1 UPS redundancy, N+1 cooling redundancy, and three 1,500 kW diesel generators. The facility is powered by 100% renewable energy through Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) from U.S. wind Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (VPPAs) and Green-e wind RECs, highlighting its commitment to sustainability.

Hivelocity Dallas 2 maintains a controlled server environment with 2.4 - 3.0 kVA per cabinet, distributed redundant UPS configuration, and advanced cooling systems utilizing electric air-cooled screw compressor chillers and air-handling units. The facility is certified with numerous industry standards, including HECVAT, HIPAA, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, NIST 800-53/FISMA High, PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type II, and SOC 2 Type II, ensuring compliance with stringent security and operational protocols.
