SC (formerly Supercomputing), the International Conference for high performance computing (HPC), networking, storage, and analysis, is the annual conference established in 1988 by the Association for Computing Machinery and the IEEE Computer Society. The not-for-profit conference is run by a committee of approximately 600 volunteers who spend roughly three years organizing each conference.
The conference attracts a diverse community of participants including researchers, scientists, application developers, computing center staff and management, computing industry staff, agency program managers, journalists, and congressional staffers.
