"DC Corp will achieve two firsts with the opening of their new data center services in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The facility will be the first data center in the state and the world’s first state-of-the-art Custom Hybrid Data Facility.
The data center is the first to offer customers total control in selecting the exact custom deployment to meet their IT requirements. The Custom Hybrid Data Facility is a scalable, flexible model with customizable options offered at set prices, a first in the industry. Construction has already begun on the site, and DC Corp hopes to have the facility open and operational by the second quarter of 2014.
The 180,000 square-foot facility will include conference rooms and client-leased office space at the building, formerly utilized by Ralph Lauren as their Childrenswear Distribution Center. DC Corp plans to utilize 11,000 square feet for offices and dedicate the rest of the space for computers and technology hardware."
