"Every year for the past 11 years, Forbes magazine has announced its list of America’s 25 Fastest-Growing Tech Companies. This year’s list included some big household names like Facebook and Apple, which took second and third place, along with Google, which landed at number 17. The professional social networking site LinkedIn took the number one spot.

Even with all of those top contenders, the 2013 list still managed to include two cloud infrastructure companies. The first being Equinix landing in the 15th spot, along with Rackspace Hosting, which landed a few notches down at number 19.

Equinix is a data center services provider that operates 95 data centers in 31 major markets. The company is headquartered in Redwood City, CA and experienced a 17% increase in sales growth over the past 12 months and a 29% increase sales growth over the past three years. The companies must have sales growths of at least 10% for each of the past three fiscal years and over the past 12 months as well. In addition, the tech company’s estimated earnings growths must be above 10% for the next three to five years. Forbes then ranks the list by a three-year average sales growth.
