"InfoRelay Online Systems, Inc. recently expanded its downtown Los Angeles data center to include a larger staff, additional office space and hosting services.
The LAX3 data center expansion comes on the heels of the company’s New York City development to increase their presence in the city. Additional services at the LAX3 data center will be available as of Oct. 1.
“We are proud to expand our offerings in the Los Angeles region through the growth of LAX3,” said InfoRelay marketing director William Lombardo. “Customers will see various changes that improve customer experience and service availability.Customers can now turn up partial cabinets, full cabinets and cage deployments, all with faster turn-up times and reduced monthly fees. All of the mentioned services are complemented by our multi-homed, highly redundant bandwidth network, which has a 99.999% uptime guarantee, and our newly hired Los Angeles sales technicians who can connect directly with clients in that region.”
LAX3 provides more than 300 network and ISP connections, and clients can now utilize secure server colocation and SnapScale enterprisecloud hosting. Additionally, IT hardware and desktop backup, high-capacity Internet connectivity and direct network peering among U.S. and Asia-based networks will also be included in the expansion.
A dark fiber ring connects LAX3 with InfoRelay’s other data center locations in Los Angeles, LAX1 and LAX2. According to the company’s website, LAX3 is their only location to offer SAS 70 Type II controls and 24-hour remote hands. The data center will also include colocation in quarter, third and half rack deployments in addition to full cabinet and cage deployments as part of the expansion.
Including their facilites in Los Angeles and New York, InfoRelay has 15 locations nationwide for serving small to medium businesses, enterprises, healthcare providers, government entities and other organizations."
