NorthC: Aalsmeer (Amsterdam Region) Data Center
About Aalsmeer (Amsterdam Region) Data Center
NorthC’s Data Center Aalsmeer, located in the Hornmeer business park in Aalsmeer (within the Amsterdam metropolitan region), sits strategically between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. It enjoys direct access to major highways A4 and A9, providing strong logistical connectivity to the Randstad region. As one of NorthC’s four regional sites in the Amsterdam area, Aalsmeer is well-positioned in one of Europe’s key digital hubs and benefits from proximity to the AMS-IX exchange ecosystem.
The facility is operated by NorthC Datacenters, which emerged from the merger of Dutch firms TDCG and NLDC. This site plays a strategic role in NorthC’s regional network by enabling redundant interconnection among Dutch facilities via its “Region Connect Ring.”Additionally, Aalsmeer supports sustainable initiatives: it operates fully on certified green power and participates in a residual heat reuse program (Energy Hub Aalsmeer) that injects waste heat into neighboring buildings (e.g. daycare, swimming pool, horticulture).
⚙️ Facility Highlights
