The Orange Amilly Data Center, operated by Orange, is located in Amilly, Centre‑Val de Loire, France. Commissioned in 2022 as part of Orange’s infrastructure consolidation strategy, it serves as a critical, energy-efficient hub supporting both enterprise and residential services, as well as Orange’s own information systems. This facility is part of a planned shift to modernize operations, consolidating activities from 17 legacy centers into three state-of-the-art sites.

• Free Cooling & Energy Efficiency: Utilizes free cooling, operating without air conditioning for over 10 months per year, thanks to an efficient design and use of outside air—reducing energy usage by approximately 30% compared to previous-generation data centers. 
• Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE): Achieves a PUE of roughly 1.3, ranking it among France’s most energy-efficient facilities. 
• Green Energy Supply: Energy consumption at the facility is fully covered by renewable electricity sourced via Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Boralex, Engie, and TotalEnergies.
