Ark Data Centres (formerly Involta) operates a concurrently maintainable data center in Cedar Rapids (Marion), Iowa, located at 460 12th Ave SE.This facility forms part of Ark’s ION Network—giving customers access to extensive fiber routes and regional connectivity across Iowa. The site is optimized for enterprises needing robust colocation, cloud, and disaster-recovery infrastructure in a lower-cost, electrically favorable market relative to big metro areas.

• The data center has ~19,000 sq ft of total building space, with ~10,000 sq ft of conditioned data center space. 
• The facility supports current critical IT load but is expandable, with published planning to support beyond 12 MW of capacity.
• Power architecture includes 2N redundant generator backup, redundant circuit feeds, and UPS systems with battery backup. 
• Cooling is delivered via CRAC units (N+1), overhead cooling, and a hot-aisle / cold-aisle containment topology. 
• Utility feeds are diverse, drawing from the regional grid with dual entrance paths. 
• The design supports modular growth and staged expansion. 
• The facility uses concrete slab flooring (not raised floor) with under-floor cabling infrastructure.
