PowerHost is a Chile data center, colocation, VPS SSD, bare metal and private cloud provider serving enterprise infrastructure, ISP, application hosting, ecommerce and latency-sensitive workloads from Santiago. Its platform is built around IXMETRO PowerHost Datacenter and AmericaIX, an Internet Exchange Point designed to connect Chilean traffic with exchange points and content routes across North America, Europe and Asia.
PowerHost delivers VPS SSD + NVMe, dedicated bare metal servers, housing / colocation, cross-connect services, IXP content access and dedicated virtual data center infrastructure. VPS plans include Linux and Windows options, dedicated resources, full root access, exclusive IPs, unlimited transfer, 99.99% uptime, 24/7 support, and national and international bandwidth allocations. Its virtual data center service is an IaaS platform using DellEMC, NETAPP, EMC VNX, Brocade, VMware and Veeam technologies for private infrastructure, backup, licensing and managed firewall/VPN add-ons.
The PowerHost data center includes more than 1,200 m² of modular infrastructure, redundant fiber routes, Cisco FEX network architecture, internal network capacity above 1 Tbps, anti-DDoS protection, 24/7 monitoring, electronic access controls and surveillance. Housing options include per-server colocation from 1U to 4U, half-rack and full-rack configurations, up to 750W per server, centralized N2 UPS, generator-backed power, dual internal rack power lines, and precision cooling with chilled water and free cooling.
