SK boardband: Yangju Data Center

Located in Ganap-ri, Gwangjeok-myeon, Yangju City (Gyeonggi Province), the SK broadband Yangju Data Center is a major new facility positioned to support South Korea’s accelerating demand for AI, cloud and carrier-services infrastructure. The site spans approximately 12,300 m² (≈132,500 sq ft) of building area and is the third-largest data centre in SK broadband’s portfolio. Its strategic positioning near Seoul enables low-latency enterprise deployments, cloud on-ramps and next-generation compute infrastructure.

⚙️ Facility Highlights

1. Construction began in Q3 2023 with an anticipated opening in Q1 2025.
2. The facility will provide significant power capacity (public sources do not yet specify full MW rating) and is designed to meet Tier III standards of availability.
