Located at Weilhartstraße 92, 5121 Ostermiething (Upper Austria), DC 10 is a premium data-centre facility operated by STACKIT, the digital-infrastructure brand of the Schwarz Group. The site sits in close proximity to Salzburg and near major transport and fibre corridors, offering excellent georedundancy potential and connectivity both domestically and cross-border. The facility is designed to deliver high-availability colocation and cloud-ready infrastructure services for enterprise, cloud and connectivity-driven customers. 

⚙️ Facility Highlights

• The first build phase delivers up to ~1,000 m² of configurable server-room area, with a second phase planned adding a further ~4,500 m² capacity. 
• Standard rack power density is specified at up to 10 kW per rack, with higher densities available on request. 
• The facility features a dual-power-line supply, connected via three independent utility networks, with redundant UPS and modular power-supply units to avoid interruptions. 
• Cooling architecture includes river-water (Salzach) free-cooling and mechanical backup chillers, achieving an industry-leading Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) close to 1.10–1.20.
• The site is equipped with advanced security and monitoring systems, cold-aisle containment, real-time power-measurement and optional rack-customization (sensors for temperature, humidity, door status, etc.).

• The DC 10 facility adheres to high-availability class n+1 designs, with a minimum availability guarantee of ~99.98 %. 
• Physical security includes 24×7 operations, biometric/card-key access, man-trap entries, secure perimeter fencing with bollards and CCTV coverage. 
• Fire-protection systems include early-warning smoke detection, nitrogen-based suppression, separated fire zones for data halls and technical areas.
• The site holds a sustainability certification (Gold by the Austrian Sustainable Building Council / ÖGNI) recognizing its resource-efficient design.
