true idc: Myanmar Data Center

The True IDC Myanmar Data Center is the first commercial data center launched in Myanmar by True IDC (Thailand).It is located on the MICT Park campus, Building 17, Hlaing University area, Yangon. 

This facility was soft-launched in October 2015, following announcements in September 2015, as a stepping stone to provide carrier-neutral colocation and managed services in Myanmar’s growing ICT market. Because True IDC Myanmar inherits the operational, certification, and service expertise of True IDC Thailand, the center aims to deliver global-standard infrastructure locally.

Its location within MICT Park places it in a technology hub of Yangon, with relatively fast access to regional connectivity and proximity to network operators active in Myanmar.

• Colocation and managed services: rack space / cabinets in a dedicated data center environment with electrical, cooling, and monitoring systems 
• Redundant power and environment systems: dual power feeds, backup generators, full monitoring systems, and air conditioning redundancy 
• Designed to meet Uptime, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 50001, CSA STAR, and PCI DSS standards (via its parent True IDC) 
• Service Level Agreement (SLA) guarantee of 99.95% uptime 
• Carrier-neutral architecture: open to all network service providers, supporting interconnection and ISP peering 
• Built initially with 60 racks (upon launch) and rated as TR 3 level (Tier Reliability 3)
• The data center was publicly described as being nearly 100% guarantee-level regarding its security and reliability design intentions
