The Welwyn / London North Data Center (Colt DCS, Welwyn Garden City) hosts a presence by Virgin Media as one of its network providers, making it a strategic interconnection hub for connectivity and colocation services.Situated in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, about 20 miles north of central London, the facility benefits from strong road and rail links (including close proximity to the A1(M) and a 30-minute train to King’s Cross) as well as close integration into the UK’s digital infrastructure. In addition to hosting Virgin Media as a network provider, the facility supports multiple carriers and cloud providers, enabling enterprises, telecoms, and digital service operators to interconnect and scale across the UK region.
