Located at 324 E 11th Street, Suite 1000, Kansas City, MO 64106, the Kansas City Data Center #2 is operated by Wholesale Internet Inc. This downtown facility is housed inside the historic Oak Tower building and serves as one of the company’s two primary colocation sites in the region.  It brings together retail colocation, locked cabinets, and shared rack options—ideal for businesses requiring secure infrastructure in a central Midwest U.S. location with access to multiple carriers and network exchange opportunities.

• The facility offers a 14,000 sq ft fully enclosed space in the Oak Tower location.

• Backup power: UPS battery systems provide immediate transition, and a 400 kW diesel generator serves as standby with ground-level fuel access for indefinite runtime.

• Connectivity and carrier-neutrality: Offers free cross-connects to the Kansas City Internet Exchange (KCIX), a redundant network fabric using Brocade routers and switches in parallel design, and upstream from major carriers including Hurricane Electric and Cogent Communications.
• Colocation options: Supports 1U increments in shared space, half-rack and full-rack locked cabinets—offering flexibility for enterprises of different sizes.

• Physical security: 24/7/365 video surveillance covering all common areas, server rooms, elevator lobbies and external façade. 
• Access control: Biometric hand scanners, access‐cards, and door monitoring at every access point within the facility. 
• Fire suppression: The facility is equipped with fire detection systems and automatic suppression (details unspecified publicly) to protect client infrastructure.
