Cleveland 2 is a highly secure, carrier-neutral colocation facility operated by Cogent Communications. Located in the industrial area of Cleveland, Ohio, it is designed to support regional enterprises, carriers, and cloud service providers by offering robust connectivity, reliable infrastructure, and efficient space utilization.

• The data center provides a total of approximately 5,804 square feet of usable space.
• About 3,619 square feet of that area is configured as non-raised floor data hall.
• The facility utilizes 42U APC cabinets arranged for optimal equipment density and airflow control.

Power Infrastructure

• A single 50 kVA uninterruptible power supply (UPS) unit ensures clean and stable power delivery.
• Backup power is supplied by a 500 kW diesel generator with a 3,000-gallon fuel tank.
• A 1,000 amp automatic transfer switch (ATS) manages seamless failover between utility and backup sources.

Cooling & Environmental Controls

• HVAC chillers are deployed to maintain optimal environmental conditions throughout the data hall.
• The facility features advanced fire detection through VESDA air sampling and Fike Cheetah integration.
• Suppression is handled by an FM-200 clean-agent system designed to protect equipment while minimizing damage.

Security & Access

• The facility is enclosed within a gated perimeter and utilizes the CCURE card-access control system.
• 24/7 surveillance is provided by high-resolution IP cameras covering both internal and external areas.
• All access events are logged and monitored in real time for full security compliance.

Connectivity & Carrier Options

• Fully carrier-neutral with fiber presence from Cogent as well as providers like Verizon, AT&T, and Lumen.
• Supports services such as Ethernet transport, IP Transit, and wavelength services up to 100 Gbps.
