About Parklands Data Center
The data center facilities are built in line with TIA-942 Tier 3 data center design principles to ensure full continuity. The data center provides 1.3 MW increasing to 3.5 MW staged from August 2018 of standby battery power, and emergency generators provides power redundancy to a 2N level, and has a fuel capacity that allows for 24 hours of uninterrupted operation to provide ultimate reliability services. The building’s network topology incorporates the Johannesburg Internet Exchange (JNIX) point, improving routing efficiency and fault tolerance. In 2016 the Parklands facility became part of the 140+ NTT Nexcenter global data centre footprint
