The NorthC Düsseldorf Data Center, located at In der Steele 37A, 40599 Düsseldorf, serves as a strategic hub in Germany’s economically vital Rhein-Ruhr region. Acquired by NorthC in 2025, the facility is being fully upgraded to align with NorthC’s trusted operational standards of high availability, security, and continuity.
Düsseldorf’s position within the Connecta Park business area provides excellent connectivity via road and air, while its role in Germany’s broader economic corridor ensures low-latency access to key markets. As part of NorthC’s regional data center platform across the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, the site supports resilient, redundant infrastructure with international reach.
⚙️ Facility Highlights
- Installed electrical power: 1.3 MW (current) with upgrade path to 6 MW
- Power systems:
- Single-feed power supply with 1 MW UPS and 1 × 2.5 MVA generator (Tier-2 standard)
- Planned upgrade to distributed redundant supply (N+1) with 6 MW UPS and 3 × 2.5 MVA generators(Tier-3 standard)
- Cooling:
- Current redundancy = N, cooling performance up to 750 W/m²
- Planned redundancy = N+1, cooling performance up to 2400 W/m²
- Fire protection: dry-pipe sprinkler system, high-fog water mist system, early smoke detection, and smoke extraction
- Logistics: on-site support for equipment reception and temporary storage
- Sustainability: powered by green energy with commitment to CO₂-neutral operations by 2030
