AMS6 is one of Switch Datacenters’ next-generation, high-density colocation facilities—strategically positioned just a few fiber miles from Schiphol Rijk, near Amsterdam. As part of Switch’s powerful new 100MW+ triangle alongside AMS5 and AMS7, AMS6 is engineered from the ground up to meet the demands of AI-driven infrastructure, hyperscale growth, and sustainable digital transformation.
Construction begins in 2026, with a modular launch of 50MW scheduled for 2027, scaling up in phase two to 83MW, and reaching 110MW+ total IT load beyond 2030.
