The CHN‑1 data center, operated by Iron Mountain Data Centers, forms Phase 1 of the forthcoming Chennai data center campus located in the Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (Plot No 83, MTH Road, Ambattur, Chennai – 600053) Situated on a  in close proximity to Chennai’s city center and approximately CHN‑1 is strategically positioned to serve India’s rapidly growing digital economy. Phase 1 is expected to become operational in 2026, delivering an initial 23 MW of power capacity as part of a broader campus plan totaling 42 MW across both CHN‑1 and CHN‑2
