CHN-2 is the second planned data center within the Iron Mountain Chennai data center campus, located in the Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai, India, specifically at Plot No. 84, MTH Road. The Chennai campus spans 4.3 acres, offering a highly secure site strategically positioned about one hour from Chennai International Airport and within easy reach of the city center. As part of Iron Mountain’s growing hyperscale-ready infrastructure in India, CHN‑2 is expected to become operational in Q3 2028, delivering 19 MW of power capacity dedicated to AI‑ready colocation services—complementing CHN‑1, which will offer 23 MW

• Campus Configuration: The Chennai campus consists of two buildings—CHN‑1 and CHN‑2—each housing 8 data halls, totaling 16 data halls across the campus
• Space: CHN‑2 contributes to a campus‑wide footprint of nearly 800,000 ft² of AI-ready data center space
• Individually, CHN‑2 is planned to span approximately 396,075 ft² 
• Power Capacity: CHN‑2 is allocated 19 MW of the campus’s total 42 MW power capacity
• Redundancy & Design: The campus is designed with Block N+2C redundancy and A/B underground power feeds to ensure robust power availability
