Keel Infrastructure: Garlock / Sherbrooke Garlock
About Garlock / Sherbrooke Garlock
Keel Infrastructure Garlock in Sherbrooke, Québec is an 18 MW hydro-powered digital infrastructure facility within Keel’s three-site Sherbrooke campus. Garlock is located at 4228 Rue de la Garlock and operates alongside The Bunker and Léger as part of a 96 MW Sherbrooke cluster supplied through Hydro-Sherbrooke. The facility originated in the Bitfarms portfolio and now supports Keel Infrastructure’s transition toward power-backed data center infrastructure for high-performance computing, AI infrastructure, and energy-intensive digital workloads.
Garlock was acquired as land and building assets in Sherbrooke and developed as the replacement site for the former de la Pointe operation. The facility reached its full 18 MW capacity in early December 2022, contributing to the full activation of the 96 MW Sherbrooke campus. Garlock has been listed with approximately 3,200 miners and 731 PH/s of compute output, supporting high-density blockchain compute operations in Québec’s hydroelectric power market.
Sherbrooke gives Garlock a strong Eastern Townships position with access to Hydro-Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke Airport, The Bunker, Léger, and Montréal-connected regional infrastructure. The site supports workloads that prioritize power availability, renewable electricity, cool-climate operations, and Canadian jurisdictional placement. Within Keel’s broader Québec, Pennsylvania, and Washington footprint, Garlock is a compact Sherbrooke compute asset with proven high-density operations and potential alignment with HPC and AI infrastructure conversion strategy.
