The Metamorfosi (Metamorphosis) Data Center, operated by Telecom Italia Sparkle (TI Sparkle), is located in Metamorfosi, a suburb in the northern sector of Greater Athens, Greece.

This facility acts as a strategic infrastructure hub in Southeastern Europe, linking regional, Mediterranean, and global markets via Sparkle’s backbone, submarine and terrestrial networks.

It integrates with Sparkle’s Nibble optical network across the Mediterranean, as well as the global Tier-1 Seabone IP backbone, facilitating low-latency interconnection between Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.

• The Metamorfosi II facility (expansion to the original) provides ~ 5,831 m² of total space with modular design across six modules.
• Total electrical power: up to 7.7 MW, supporting a maximum of 700 racks in the Metamorfosi II buildout. 
• Temperature / humidity design: delivery air at 24 °C ± 2 °C, humidity 50 % ± 15 %. 
• Structural and seismic resiliency: built with anti-seismic criteria to withstand regional seismic activity.
