Vantage Data Centers: JNB1 Johannesburg I Data Center Campus
About JNB1 Johannesburg I Data Center Campus
Building 1 is part of the Johannesburg I Data Center Campus, Vantage Data Centers’ expansion into South Africa — the leading data center market in Africa. Strategically located within Waterfall City, surrounded by restaurants, hotels, shopping, and entertainment venues, the campus delivers scalable, high-density infrastructure to support enterprise, hyperscale, and cloud deployments across the African continent. Spanning approximately 30 acres (12 hectares), the campus is planned to provide 80MW of critical IT load across three two-story data centers, totaling approximately 650,000 square feet (60,000 m²). Building 1 benefits from resilient electrical infrastructure, advanced cooling systems, and diversified fiber connectivity designed for mission-critical operations. Engineered for performance and scalability, the campus supports average densities of up to 300W per square foot (3.2kW/m²).
