About Provident Data Centers
Provident Data Centers is a Dallas-based data center development platform providing build-to-suit powered shell solutions and fully vetted powered land for hyperscalers, data center operators, service providers, government agencies, and large enterprises. The company supports customers that need scalable sites, power procurement, entitlements, zoning, design, development, construction planning, and speed-to-market execution for next-generation digital infrastructure.
Provident’s service portfolio focuses on site selection, entitlements and zoning, design and development, land acquisition, power studies, engineering, construction, and regulatory compliance. Its development model evaluates power availability, reliability, growth potential, operational requirements, community fit, environmental impact, and building specifications before advancing data center sites.
Provident’s track record includes more than 7 GW of planned and committed power, more than 5,000 acres acquired, and 92 million gross square feet envisioned across its data center development platform. The company’s current portfolio includes nine data center projects, including Texas markets such as Grand Prairie, Fort Worth, Irving, Plano, Dallas, and Austin, plus Albuquerque, New Mexico. Provident and PowerHouse are developing a 768-acre Dallas-Fort Worth hyperscale campus with a 1.8 GW switchyard, a first 500 MW tranche approved through ERCOT, and the first building scheduled to energize in May 2026.
