Vantage Data Centers: Shackelford County (Frontier) Data Center Campus - Building 4
About Shackelford County (Frontier) Data Center Campus - Building 4
Building 4 is part of the Shackelford County (Frontier) Data Center Campus, a mega-scale development in Texas designed to meet unprecedented AI and high-performance computing demand. Located in the Lone Star State with proximity to Abilene Regional Airport and local amenities, the campus provides hyperscale-ready infrastructure with next-generation cooling and ultra-high-density power architecture.
The campus spans approximately 1,200 acres and is planned to deliver 1.4GW of critical IT load across 10 one-story data centers once fully developed, totaling approximately 3,700,000 square feet. Building 4 benefits from this master-planned AI-focused campus, incorporating scalable electrical infrastructure, advanced mechanical systems, and diverse connectivity pathways.
Engineered for next-generation GPU deployments, the campus supports average rack densities up to 1.4kW per square foot, positioning it among the highest-density environments in Vantage’s global portfolio.
