Vantage Data Centers: Shackelford County (Frontier) Data Center Campus – Building 9
About Shackelford County (Frontier) Data Center Campus – Building 9
Building 9 is part of the Shackelford County (Frontier) Data Center Campus, a mega-scale AI-focused development in the Lone Star State designed to meet unprecedented demand for next-generation compute infrastructure. Strategically located in Shackelford County, Texas, the campus provides hyperscale-ready capacity, advanced cooling systems, and high-density power architecture tailored for GPU-intensive and AI workloads.
Spanning approximately 1,200 acres, the campus is planned to deliver 1.4GW of critical IT load across 10 one-story data centers once fully developed, totaling approximately 3,700,000 square feet. Building 9 benefits from this master-planned hyperscale environment, designed to support extremely high rack densities and flexible deployment models.
Engineered for advanced AI infrastructure, the campus supports average densities up to 1.4kW per square foot, enabling large-scale, high-performance computing environments
